Lawn to vegetable garden

After growing hundreds of pounds of produce for the food bank at a local school garden, this homeowner saw her back lawn in a new light. She asked us to change the grass into vegetable beds, moving the aesthetic from English ornamental garden to Santa Fe farm. Raised limestone beds for vegetables match the stone on the house, and decomposed granite makes a quick-draining and easy care walking surface.
