“I only walk through here to carry out the trash,” the homeowner said about this skinny, shady space outside his living room. “And what can we do about the airplane noise?” We applied a little imagination to create a beautiful new entertaining space, with a long view that unfolds as you walk in the front door. Several dwarf maples, crinums and variegated sedge add color and texture to the garden.
