East Dallas driveway renaissance

A broken old driveway, a nandina forest and  mosquito-infested groundcover didn’t make a for very inviting back yard. But with some selective editing and a  few new materials, it now doubles as a work space outside the garage and an entertainment area. An additional patio adds winter ‘sun pocket’ seating and connects the green space behind the house to the work/play area. Luckily these homeowners had a great piece of graffiti art–and a coincidentally matching Vespa–to hide the fence while some new grasses grow in.
